Permanent Contraceptive Methods

Surgical methods of contraception are for people who do not wish to have any more children. The contraceptive action of these methods is meant to be permanent; reversal of the operation may not be possible. People who think they may want to have children in the future should consider using temporary methods of contraception instead.

NSV Doctors
A list (by state and province) of physicians in the U.S. and Canada who have reported that they received training in no-scalpel vasectomy--either by attending a training seminar or workshop or by receiving hands-on training in the technique.

NOTE: AVSC International has not evaluated the surgical skills of all of these physicians; as a result, we can neither make referrals to nor recommend any specific doctors. We strongly encourage you to investigate the experience of any physician whose care you are considering.
