MAP Case Studies
These case studies were written in preparation for an international symposium sponsored by AVSC/IPPF in Oaxaca, Mexico in October of 1998. They tell the stories of five innovative programs in the Americas that are working to involve men constructively in sexual and reproductive health.
The studies resulted from interviews with program staff and actual clients and reviews of program literature. The projects that are described range from work with Brazilian adolescents on sexuality to an evaluation of the treatment of men by clinic staff. Executive summaries of the case study reports are featured on this site and complete reports can be ordered from AVSC International.
